Bangsar South is flush with trendy restaurants that offer one-of-a-kind experiences from both a culinary and scenic perspective. Perhaps none embody this so well as the lofty Vogue Lounge, which recently reopened its doors after a brief closure.
Perched at the top of Menara Suez, this elegant Condé Nast dining destination appeared on the scene just over a year ago, redefining the line where food meets fashion. Spread out over 18,500 sq ft, the restaurant, lounge and rooftop bar boasts teardrop pendant lights, high ceilings, a catwalk-like floor where you can strike a pose or two, sleek accents, iconic Vogue covers and unobstructed panoramic views of the Klang Valley.
With the challenges posed by the pandemic, the restaurant shut its doors for a brief period to take stock and reconfigure certain elements. It returns now with a new chef, new menu and new management team, ready to take on 2021 with pizzazz.
A Fresh Spread

Chef Steve Arifin
The menu has seen a complete overhaul that brings together the finer points of Eurasian and Asian-Med cuisines, influences by both Japanese and French sensibilities. Spearheading this is Head Chef Steve Arifin, who boasts extensive work experience in several prestigious fine dining restaurants in South East Asia and Europe.

Hokkaido Sea Urchin
His classy new menu is packed with exquisite creations, some of the signature dishes being Hokkaido Sea Urchin, A4 Japanese Wagyu, and Souffle.
Beautiful Beverages
If you’ve got a penchant for cocktails, you’ll go gaga over the list at Vogue Lounge. The extensive drinks menu contains a range of classics and Vogue signatures including Tokyo Fizz (Whiskey, Umeshu, Earl Grey Syrup), or Dark Moon (Vodka, Espresso, DOM Benedictine).

Sommelier Nikola Maksic
On the wine front, there’s a dedicated in-house sommelier who holds a Master’s in Hospitality from the University of Novi Sad. Serbian born Nikola Maksic will see to it that you get that perfect wine or cocktail to match your food, and answer any questions you might have about the pairings.
Wow Factor Interior
As one might expect from a restaurant that’s named after one of the most recognisable fashion magazines in the world, the interior design here is stunning. Every corner of the establishment has been thoughtfully designed to exude a distinctive style. From the VOGUE magazine covers neatly framed against the wall to the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, LED platform cum runway and ultra-chic powder rooms, you’ll never run out of Instagram-able moments here.
There’s also a plush lounge area for cosy conversations, and a private dining chamber called The V Room, which can hold up to 16 guests and can include the preparation of an ad hoc degustation menu.
Safe & Stylish
Rest assured that all measures have been taken to ensure the safety of guests. Social distancing measures, temperature checks and limited capacity dining will ensure that your dining experience is safe, comfortable, and undisturbed.
From first dates to romantic rendezvous, wedding anniversaries, birthdays, launches and special occasions, Vogue Lounge is THE place to celebrate intimately joyous, pleasurable moments with highly, personalised service and attention to detail.
