Long renowned for their delicious ramen, IPPUDO is now branching out into Malaysia’s nightlife scene with the launch of the IPPUDO Bar at their Bangsar outlet in Bangsar Shopping Centre.
“With the IPPUDO Bar, we are aiming to bring a taste of Japan’s famous nightlife right here in Kuala Lumpur,” said Tomo Kudo, IPPUDO Regional Operations Consultant.
“We offer our customers the chance to immerse themselves in an authentic Japanese atmosphere complete with Japanese alcohol and bar food prepared with the same high quality and standards of IPPUDO’s world famous ramen.”

Besides the commitment to preserving the food quality and service standards, the outdoor area of the Bangsar IPPUDO outlet is a dedicated bar with high tables, wine chiller and bar shelves in order to create a genuine bar atmosphere.
“One of our key offerings will be the food pairings we provide to complement the premium Japanese alcohol,” said Kudo. “This will showcase how alcohol can enhance the taste of your food and vice versa.”
Japanese Alcohol Menu
Whiskey lovers rejoice as IPPUDO Bar’s impressive menu will feature award-winning Japanese whiskeys such as Yamazaki, Hibiki and Taketsuru single malts.
Hanakawa Sparkling Sake paired with Crispy Sushi Pinchos
When paired with authentic IPPUDO Japanese bar snacks and the stunning ambience of the outlet, Malaysia’s whiskey connoisseurs will be transported to the heart of Tokyo itself.
You can’t talk about Japanese alcohol without sake and IPPUDO Bar certainly doesn’t disappoint, boasting one of the widest ranges of sake in Malaysia – of which some are believed to be invested as far back as 712 AD. With eight different varieties of sake available, partygoers will be spoilt for choice on a night out.
Also on offer is a wide range of Japanese beers including well-known brands such as Suntory The Premium Malt’s, Kirin Ichiban, Sapporo and craft beers like Hitachino’s White Ale and Nipponia.
If you prefer something a little more unique, cocktails are on the menu as well with IPPUDO’s specialised creations – Japanese-inspired, of course.
Specialised Food Menu
Food remains a priority at IPPUDO Bar with tasty Japanese bar food on offer, just as they are in Tokyo.
