JUMPA is the result of a recent rejuvenation project that breathed new life into about a third of the decades-old iconic Sungei Wang Plaza in Bukit Bintang. It has many things going for it, with a vibrant array of offerings that comprise F&B, athleisure, entertainment and more. One of the main attractions here is none other than Beast Park.
This impressive-sounding centre is an indoor adventure and activity park that takes up an expansive area within JUMPA. Most first impressions will revolve around the functional, urban aesthetics that are a recurring theme throughout the space, exuding a purposeful feel. It does a fairly decent job catching the eye and draws attention to the park’s layout, which boasts a handful of distinct areas.
Camp5 Indoor Climbing Gym
While this isn’t the first Camp5 in Malaysia (there are three other locations in KL and one in JB), it in no way detracts from the experience this particular one dishes out. Featuring technical routes that are challenging, this is where beginner or pro indoor rock climbers alike can sharpen their skills.
Beast Academy
This academy contains a range of training programmes, such as those for calisthenics and ninja courses, which are pegged at different levels. Whether one is a novice, amateur, or treading on more advanced ground, they can fit in.
Beast Net
Starring a floating net contraption, this setup looks deceptively easy but may prove to be a workout, and even a test of nerves. However, it does come with a generous helping of excitement and interesting sensations.
Beast Junior
As the name suggests, this spot is geared towards the younger ones in the crowd. It emulates a playground in a manner of speaking, mixing together edutainment and skill-advancement details that help to form little beasts, in the best sense of the word.
Artisan Roast Café
Saving visitors the trouble of venturing out to search for food and drink, this on-site café serves a spread of health-conscious food and locally roasted coffee. It also makes a great place to hang out and take in the music and art, which is the work of Malaysian and international artists.
There are also options for team-building activities and private events. Check out the website below for more info on all these components of Beast Park!
