Sunway Group extended a helping hand to the needy in conjunction with this year’s Deepavali with the #SunwayforGood Deepavali Cheer initiative.
This generous gesture provides welcome relief to the bottom 40% (B40) income-group families, furnishing them with food aid in the communal spirit.

Sunway also released a stirring video for the Festival of Lights entitled Light of Hope, which illuminates the need of togetherness, joy, giving, sharing and unity in our society.
Heartwarmingly, the video is inspired by a real-life tale involving the #SunwayforGood Food Bank programme, and cements the notion of Deepavali symbolising the victory of light over darkness.
The story follows Raj and his family who lose their income due to COVID-19, and their subsequent resolve to seek out even the slightest sliver of light in the enveloping darkness. The video details their path to restoring hope when Deepavali threatens to be a bleak time for the family.
