The very first shopping mall to open in Subang Jaya was the Subang Parade Mall with an approximate space of 1,169,038 square feet well distributed over three floors. This mall has over 160 stores operating inside it with a huge variety of restaurants and clothing stores taking up majority of the space.
It was known to be the longest mall in South East Asia when it officially opened in 1988. It is located within walking distance of the Empire Shopping Gallery, Darul Ehsan Mosque and an Aeon Big. The Subang Jaya Komuter station is also strategically placed nearby the Subang Parade Mall.
