In just a relatively short time span, the pairing of Ferry Corsten and Markus Schulz have taken the techno world by storm since becoming New World Punx. Having built reputations as flourishing DJs individually, the pair are finding their star grow to playing some of the biggest sets in the world after their unlikely beginnings.
Hoping to avoid a dispute over which of the two superstars would get top billing at Godskitchen in the UK, the two agreed to team up for the night creating a smash eight-hour concert that would propel them both to megastardom. Since then, New World Punx have earned huge critical acclaim for shows in Las Vegas, Echostage and even Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Now is the time though for them to make their Malaysian bow as they come to Kuala Lumpur for the first time ever at one of the city’s hottest concert venues. KL Live is known for its uniquely intimate atmosphere, hosting international acts such as Tenacious D and Boyce Avenue in the past year alone. For one night only, though, the one-of-a-kind venue will be transformed into a true temple of techno during the duo’s first ever trip to Malaysian shores.
They will be supported by an opening act featuring many of Malaysia’s mainstays on the DJ circuit – BATE, Chukiess & Whackboi, Eva T, and Hulkas – that promises a hugely memorable night out.
