Aquaria KLCC recently dove into the Christmas spirit by inviting children from Pusat Jagaan Cahaya Kasih for a morning of fun and educational activities in collaboration with Institut Jantung Negara.
Underwater Santa Claus and his helpers giving the children a performance
The children were taken on a tour of the sprawling oceanarium before watching a feeding session with the iconic Underwater Santa Claus, who has been a mainstay at Aquaria during the festive season for years.
“Christmas is a season for giving, and we look forward to giving these children a memorable and magical Christmas experience while learning about the wonderful marine and freshwater species here at Aquaria KLCC,” said Aquawalk Sdn Bhd Group CEO Dato’ Simon Foong.
It’s not just an aquatic Santa that will be greeting visitors at Aquaria during this festive season, but mermaids as well! They will be swimming alongside some star species in the Living Ocean display, including the Green Sea Turtle, Stringrays and Sand Tiger Sharks. Make sure to also keep an eye out for the Jingle Bell Dance happening four times this December!
Visitors can also join scientific experiments every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday in December, held at the education booth. Some of the topics covered include Ocean Acidification and function of fats in the marine body.
Make sure to grab friends and family and take full advantage of the most wonderful time of the year at Aquaria KLCC this month!
