We give you some of the highlights on the cards.
Blended Jazz
With an illustrious career spanning over three decades, jazz band Spyro Gyra shows no signs of letting up, having played 100 gigs a year since they first spent Buffalo summers cutting their teeth in small clubs and working the scene. Fast forward to the present day and the five- piece band is 30 albums deep with over 10 million copies sold.
Founding members Jay Beckenstein (on the saxophone) and Tom Schuman (on the keyboard) have remained constant, with other members fluctuating through the years. Despite the changes, their live performances are full of energy, darting between classical and progressive jazz. Don’t miss their energetic performance!
Andalusian Allure
Hailing from Seville, Isabel Bayón began dancing at the tender age of five, drawn to the sensual rhythms of flamenco. “It was something I couldn’t resist,” she says, having since then worked with the Andalusian Dance Company, the Spanish National Ballet, as well as founding her own flamenco dance school, A Dos.
