11 September 2017:Join the largest science-themed festival in the country happening at KLCC
Aiming to make science accessible to the public, while inspiring everyone to do their part to make the world a better place, the Petrosains Discovery Centre is bringing back the Petrosains Science Festival from 15-17 September.
Featuring augmented reality experiences, informative talks and creative hands-on activities, the festival will not just take place within the Petrosains Discovery Centre, but extend outside to the lush esplanade of the KLCC Park.
“With the tagline ’Little Plans for the Big Planet,” the Petrosains Science Festival will showcase ideas to inspire the community to embrace a sustainable lifestyle, and demonstrate how our small actions in our daily lives can help to bring positive impact to our planet,” said Petrosains Chief Executive Officer Tengku Nasariah Tengku Syed Ibrahim.
These ‘actions’ include recycling, turning trash into treasure, using bicycles to get around instead of cars, and minimising the use of air conditioning.

Other highlights include a completely zero-waste Tiny Home, fun science shows and celebrity performances by Altimet, Paperplane Pursuit, Fazz and Malaysia’s green advocate – Dato’ Zainal Abidin who will be belting out his iconic hit Hijau during the festival.
