At a height of 1,453 feet, the Petronas Twin Towers were one of the world’s tallest buildings from 1998 to 2004. However, these beauties are still the tallest twin towers in the world today! They have become the symbol of Malaysia and dominate the skyline. A skybridghe 170m up offers spectacular views over the city, while the Petrosains Discovery Centre and the Dewan Filharmonik Petronas can be found on the premises.
Each of the tower's floor plate is designed based on geometric forms of two interlocking squares, creating a shape of eight-pointed stars inspired by Islamic patterns, which stand for "unity within unity, harmony, stability and rationality".
