26 June 2019: Oreo introduces a new eating ritual of “Lick It, Crunch It” instead of their iconic “Twist, Lick, Dunk”
Oreo recently united with chocolate powerhouse Cadbury to introduce the all-new Oreo Chocolate Coated cookie, combining the two brands under the Mondelēz International conglomerate in seamless fashion.
The innovation features an Oreo cookie coated in Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, bringing forward a new way to indulge the snack – to ‘Lick It, Crunch It’.
Made in Egypt, the Chocolate Coated has already been launched in countries like South Africa, United Kingdom, United States, Australia and India, while Malaysia is the first in Southeast Asia to welcome the new product.
Available in stores nationwide, the Oreo Chocolate Coated retails at RM2.70 for a packet of two.
“We wanted to create a product that breaks free from the conventional mold of our other product variations, while still ensuring that it is something our consumers would turn to whenever they feel in need of a snack,” said Senior Marketing Manager of Biscuits and Snacks, Simon Crowther, speaking at the recent launch event at The Grounds.
Also appearing at the launch was actress Koe Yeet and social media stars Brandon Ho, Epul Eusoff and Nadhirah Zamani.
