If you’re looking to take your Christmas and New Year’s to new heights (quite literally), look no further than Marini’s on 57, the capital’s iconic rooftop destination that has wowed guests since 2012. This year, the award-winning establishment has put together an exceptional set of menus for the two festive dates, complete with all the bells and whistles expected of the famous brand.

There could be no better way to celebrate Yuletide than with the six-course menu, which will be available on 24 and 25 December. Marini’s has never compromised on its ingredients sourced from around the world, and with items like Hokkaido scallop, lobster tortelli, coral trout, lamb rack, black truffle and Valrhona chocolate cremeux, you can be sure you’re getting the best of the best.
All these appear on the prix fixe menu, prepared in the signature innovative ways designed to touch the five senses.

Skip forward a week later and the New Year’s Eve menu is a study in gastronomy that combines simple and complex flavours to produce a symphony of tastes. When the meal kicks off with a trio of items – Wagyu beef bresaola served with Parmesan brioche bread and tarragon mayonnaise, a tuna tartlet ‘Catalana style’, and Potato and Mushroom Cappuccino – you know you’re in for an exceptional experience.
Guests are spoilt in the main course section, which starts with a Carnaroli risotto paired with white truffles from Alba. Then, an impossible choice between cod fish with macadamia nuts, roasted cauliflower and caviar, or Wagyu tenderloin with leek gratin and morel mushroom sauce comes next. And finally, a truffle Taleggio with toasted brioche bread rounds out this section.

Enjoy saying goodbye to 2020 with Strawberry Sorbet and classic Italian sponge cake with elderflower essence, and a Hazelnut Crémeux and sponge cake with vanilla gelato, truffle essence, truffle slices and gold dust.
There are vegetarian options available for both menus, with items like roasted parsnip salad, mushroom terrine, ricotta cheese ravioli and roasted cauliflower with macadamia nut.
The Marini’s on 57 Christmas 2020 set dinner is priced at RM480++ per person. The New Year’s Eve is priced at RM980++ per person for non-window seating, RM1,180++ per person for window seating and RM628++ per person for the vegetarian option.
