24 July 2017:Daily Fruit Goodness Roadshow makes its inaugural appearance
Widely regarded as one of Malaysia’s top pasteurised fruit juice drink brand, Marigold Peel Fresh is a home-grown name that has just crested its third decade of existence. Recently, the brand held its very first Marigold Peel Fresh Daily Fruit Goodness roadshow at 1 Utama Shopping Centre from 19 to 23 July 2017.
The initiative aimed to address a growing concern – the low intake of fruits and vegetables amongst Malaysians. The percentage of adults consuming the recommended daily intake of fruits and vegetables has been decreasing; currently, it is estimated that only 6% of adult Malaysians consume sufficient fruits and vegetables, compared to 7.5% that was recorded in 2011.

Featuring local celebrity and brand ambassador Lisa Surihani, the roadshow featured a range of the brand’s nutritious juices in both the Regular (a choice of nine flavours) and No Sugar Added (a choice of six flavours) ranges for public sampling. Several shoppers also walked away with goodie bags and prizes won in games.
The roadshow focused on educating Malaysians from all walks of life on the importance of consuming fruits and fruit juices as part of a healthy lifestyle. Michael Ong, Deputy General Manager of the company said, “The Ministry of Health has recommended that we consume at least two servings of fruits in a day. Our Daily Fruit Goodness roadshow is in support of the recommendation and Marigold Peel Fresh serves to complement the daily recommended servings for extra daily fruit goodness. It is convenient and it comes in its ready-to-drink packaging.”
The roadshow saw fans of Lisa who gathered for a meet-and-greet and autograph session as well as a live talk show to share her life story as a mother of two who leads a busy and hectic schedule, and yet, maintaining a healthy lifestyle with the aid of the brand.
