Malaysia Airports recently unveiled its 25th Anniversary Shopping Campaign, with over RM2.5 million worth of prizes up for grabs. The announcement was made at KL International Airport, and also included information on other exciting happenings in line with the anniversary celebrations.
The campaign puts shoppers who spend a minimum of RM250 at participating outlets in the run to win fabulous prizes, including return tickets to dream destinations like London and Paris – on business class flights on less!
Prizes are sponsored by airline partners – Malaysia Airlines, Malindo Air and AirAsia as well as Mastercard – the official card for the shopping campaign. Those who make purchases with a Mastercard double their chances of winning.

“We owe much of our success to our passengers. Recognising this, we are pleased to reward our airport users through our annual shopping campaign. This campaign is aimed at giving travellers and visitors the opportunity to discover further the many options available at our airports, and at the same time be handsomely reward for their spending,” said Malaysia Airports Managing Director Datuk Badlisham Ghazali at the launch event recently.
He also added that the campaign is a gesture of appreciation to concessionaries who have helped them fulfil their mission of ensuring a joyful experience for airport visitors. Efforts in increasing retail spend at the airports had resulted in sales increasing by 56% over the last five years with over RM2.1 billion spent last year alone.
With that said, the Malaysia Airports has widened its range of retail and food outlets especially in its international airports while continuing to embrace technology and innovation for a more enhanced shopping experience.
The 25th Anniversary Shopping Campaign is available at all international airports – KLIA (including klia2), Penang International Airport, Langkawi International Airport, Kota Kinabalu International Airport and Kuching International Airport.
