28 August 2017:A one-of-a-kind Lamborghini experience for KLIA and klia2 passengers
Malaysia Airports Holding Berhad (MAHB) treated twenty five lucky passengers who spent a minimum of RM500 in KLIA and klia2 during the KUL Dad Campaign with a unique Lamborghini experience at the Sepang International Circuit today.
The KUL Dad campaign was held in conjunction with the celebration of Malaysia Airports’ 25th anniversary to encourage passengers to shop at participating outlets from both terminals and win a Lamborghini joy ride.

“We recorded a 32% cumulative growth from the participating outlets from both terminals during the one-month campaign period, an encouraging sign considering that we have multiple other promotional campaigns running concurrently,” said MAHB Senior General Manager of Commercial Services, Mohammad Nazli bin Abdul Aziz.
Nazli added that the duty free category was the highest performer during the campaign. Eraman, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Malaysia Airports, contributed at least 30% to the total retail sales, followed by Cosmetic Dimensi Ekslusif and The ZON Duty Free.
The campaign also aims to boost commercial revenue and average spending per passenger which is part of the airport operator’s Total Airport Experience (TAE) mission in creating a satisfying airport experience for airlines, retailers and passengers.
“Our primary objective is creating a memorable joyful experience for our stakeholders including initiatives that enhance passenger comfort like better Wi-Fi coverage and maximising shopping experience through marketing campaigns,” said Nazli.
“We have also upgraded the Malaysia Airports mobile app to offer personalised and real-time information for our passengers.”
The Lamborghini joy ride is a continuation of the partnership between Malaysia Airports and Lamborghini Kuala Lumpur that gives passengers a chance to win the Lamborghini Huracan Spyder grand prize and other destination prizes worth RM2,500,000 with a minimum spend at the participating airports.
The Malaysia Airports 25th anniversary campaign ends on 30 November and is offered at KLIA and klia2, Penang International Airport, Langkawi International Airport, Kota Kinabalu International Airport, and Kuching International Airport.
