Luxury Swiss jewellery house Gübelin in collaboration with Exes Studio and A Cut Above, are ready to give 25 lucky participants spectacular makeovers, turning them into superstars for one glorious evening for a worthy cause.
Titled the Silver Lining campaign, the event seeks to raise funds of RM6,000 per participant to be donated to three orphanages, namely the Star Fish Malaysia Foundation in Kota Kinabalu, the Lighthouse Children’s Home in Kuala Lumpur, and the Living Hope home in Selangor, all in need of provisions to care for the children in their homes. Even those who do not wish to have their picture taken can still be a part of the initiative by donating any amount they desire.
Each participant will be given a glamourous hair and make-up transformation by the skilled stylists of A Cut Above salons, before being decked out in Gübelin’s latest collection of exquisite jewellery following by a photography shoot by celebrity snapper Patrick Low of Exes Studio.
Potraits from Patrick Low’s portfolio
The portraits themselves will be far from ordinary; each one will take on a three-dimensional form when viewed with special 3-D glasses. They will also come with a special QR Code which links to a short interview of the subject. But that’s not all the surprises in store – every participant will get to take home a framed copy of the portrait, as well as a digital copy on a USB and 50 copies of photobooks as tokens, provided by Photobook Malaysia.
Jewellery from Gübelin’s Belize collection
The portraits will be displayed at Starhill Gallery, not only to showcase the creative artwork of Patrick Low, but also to raise awareness of this effort, which aims to collect a total of RM150,000 in support of the three homes.
Don’t miss the chance to create your own Hollywood moment with this exciting campaign and stand a chance to win a Gübelin RM10,000 voucher when you participate.
