Known as Masjid Jamek in the Malay language, Jamek Mosque is one of the oldest and most picturesque mosques in KL, situated at the confluence of the Klang and Gombak rivers. Built in 1907, the striking red brick and marble structure was inspired by North Indian Islamic architecture.
The Masjid Jamek LRT station which serves the Kelana Jaya Line, Sri Petaling Line and Ampang Line is located nearby. Other famous attractions like Chinatown, Little India and Dataran Merdeka are not far from the station. Stop at this station if you would like to spend a day in KL and travel conveniently.
