Synonymous with young and hip, Belgian-based watch brand Ice-Watch is slowly becoming one of Malaysia’s most popular brands.
On 1 August, Ice-Watch Malaysia Managing Director Dato Sri Meer Habib launched the latest outlet at Mitsui Outlet Park. It was a double celebration as Ice-Watch recently joined forces with Raceline Malaysia to promote the brand in 2016.
The highlight of the event was a BMW Motorsports Ice-Watch which was unveiled by Dato’ Sri Meer Habib, as a token of the exciting new partnership.
To help make the occasion even more memorable, Petronas Raceline Malaysia’s Moto2 rider Hafizh Syahrin was invited, together with a few of his team members who have long been fans of the funky timepieces.
“Ice-Watch is now my favourite brand to wear during the race weekend. I love the Chrono Electrik for its oversize chronograph and how it matches so well with our uniforms! I like a lot of the Ice-Watch models as they suit my casual usage,” says Hafizh.

The Mitsui Park outlet will not only offer the newly launched Ice-Watch ranges, but customers will also be able to find some of the brand’s older models at discounted rates up to 70% off.
Dato’ Sri Meer Habib said of the brand, “Ice-Watch is phenomenal because it is a unique blend of innovation, creativity, affordability and simplicity. It cuts across age, style and background and is easy to wear with almost everything.”
Currently, there are 15 stand-alone Ice-Watch boutiques in Malaysia, with a majority located in the major shopping malls across the Klang Valley, including Nu Sentral, the Curve and Ampang Point.
