To celebrate its reopening, KL Tower is offering free admission to its Observation Deck for the whole month of July! Offering some of the greatest panoramas you can get from any high-rise in the heart of the capital, now’s the time to grab friends and family and head up the tower to take in the awesome views.
This lofty spire has become one of the symbols of KL, rising majestically out of the KL Forest Eco Park and weighing in as the seventh tallest telecommunications tower in the world.
The circular Observation Deck is the perfect way to gain a bird’s eye appreciation of the city, with coin-operated binoculars planted all around the deck that let you zoom in on KL’s landmarks.
The offer also includes a 50% discount on tickets to the Sky Deck located higher up the tower and the place where you’ll also find the much-talked-about Sky Box. This glass cube extention offers a surreal way to take in KL’s skyline, with nothing but a pane of glass separating you from a 300 metre drop!

Soaring sights aren’t the only thing KL Tower has to offer; if you’re a nature enthusiast you’ll want to head to the Blue Coral Aquarium and KL Tower Mini Zoo, each home to a range of exotic creatures such as bat-eared foxes, falabellas (the world’s smallest species of horse!) and skunk clownfish to name a few.
Meanwhile, at the base of the tower you’ll find the KL Forest Eco Park – a virgin tropical rainforest and one of the oldest reserves in Malaysia. The 200-metre canopy walk is a great way to take in this sanctuary and maybe spot some long-tailed macaques that inhabit the area.

There’s no shortage of dining options at the tower either, with the revolving Atmosphere 360 restaurant up top offering an international menu that will satisfy any taste buds. There’s also mouthwatering Middle Eastern at Moghul Mahal Restaurant and scrumptious Italian and Santino’s Pizza. And if you’ve got a sweet tooth, swing by the chocolate shop that offers a luxurious selection of superb quality chocolates.
