29 May 2017:Early bird tickets for the mass cycling available now! Back for its third edition on 4-5 November 2017, the OCBC Cycle KL is set to take participants on a challenging and exciting 42km ride around some of KL’s most well-known landmarks. Flagging off at the iconic Dataran Merdeka, the route consists of two 21km loops along closed roads in the city centre, which will allow serious cyclists to showcase their riding skills. Aiming to bring together 3,000 fitness enthusiasts, the race was also created to complement the OCBC KL Car Free Morning, which takes place the first and third Sunday of every month. “We are pleased to once again support this mass participation cycling initiative in the heart of Kuala Lumpur,” said Mayor of Kuala Lumpur Datuk Seri Hj. Mhd. Amin Nordin, during the official launching ceremony.

“It is a great platform for the regular cyclists at the OCBC KL Car Free Morning to tackle the next stage in their fitness and health goals. We would like to thank OCBC Bank for making this cycling platform available to all.” This year’s OCBC Cycle KL will also feature a children’s category for the first time, which will be held on the morning of 4 November. The event will include a 100m Push Bike & Tricycle categories for 2-7 year olds and a Junior Sprint King event for 7-17 year olds, designed to encourage youngsters to stay active.
