Fujifilm Malaysia has revealed its latest camera, the Instax Square SQ6. Launched in tandem with Japan, the camera answers the call for square format films and is the first analog Instax shooter by the brand.
“Fujifilm has always inspired users to print out their pictures and explore the joy of photo printing. We hope that the launch of SQ6 will help boost sales of Fujifilm’s instax series and encourage Malaysians to discover how enjoyable instant photography is,” Fujifilm Malaysia Managing Director Yoshitaka Nakamura said.
The SQ6, which comes in three colours (pearl white, blush gold and graphite gray), sports a range of functions, such as an automatic exposure adjustment function to provide the optimum shutter speed and flash light intensity. There is also a selfie-mode and a self-shot mirror allowing users to frame the shot easily. Meanwhile, a timer , along with tripod mounting points, make group photos a cinch.
The camera comes with three modes to cover almost every situation; the ‘Double Exposure Mode’ which allows two photos to be overlapped, the ‘Macro Mode’ that can take short-range photos up to a minimum of 30cm, and the ‘Landscape Mode’ which can be used to take long-range landscape photos. Three flash colour filters – orange, purple and green – help create unique photos!
The SQ6 is available at all Fujifilm and dealers’ retail shops nationwide with an early bird package of RM598 (including GST), plus one SQ6 exclusive suede case, a twin-pack square film (plain) and a CR2 rechargeable battery with each purchase.
