Entering The Emperor in Dorsett Grand Subang is much like entering a palace courtyard, with staff dressed in majestic gold-laced uniforms that complement the regal red and green trimmings. On offer is traditional Cantonese cuisine, with a Western edge.
Wagyu beef, for example, comes served on a bed of foie gras, while Chinese roast duck comes garnished with strawberries, making for a stimulating combination of savory and sweet flavours. Dim sum is served daily for lunch and not to be missed, as The Emperor is a hot spot for this time-honoured cuisine.
