A part of CIMB Bank’s The Cooler Earth Sustainability Summit which carries the theme ‘Resilience, Recovery, Responsibility’, CIMB Artober brings into the light local visual artists and galleries to garner appreciation for home-grown art. It harbours the spirit of #KitaJagaKita (loosely translated as ‘taking care of each other’) which came about in the wake of the pandemic’s adverse effects on local businesses. Check out the video below by CIMB.
The Malaysian bank has thus collaborated with established local art galleries this month, inviting everyone to take a look at the creative exhibitions on offer and to lend their support for local artistic talent. All in all, there are over 200 artworks by some 50 artists spread across ten art galleries in the duration of Artober, which runs from 3 October to 1 November 2020. CIMB is also throwing in special deals on purchases or complimentary items!
CIMB credit card members are able to enjoy discounts of up to 15% off on artworks purchased at the participating galleries, among other offers. The galleries are A+ Works of Art, Art WeMe, Artemis Art, Core Design Gallery, G13 Gallery, Nadine Fine Art, Richard Koh Fine Art, Segaris Art Center, Suma Orientalis, and Taksu.
On top of that, there are also weekend staycation deals at two renowned hotels that are also famous for their local art collections, Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur and Element Kuala Lumpur.
