The menu comprises six courses and weighs in at only RM398++ for two people – a complete steal for the premium dishes that make this one of the best deals in town at the moment. If you’ve never experienced a Nobu meal for fear of breaking the bank, then now is arguably the best time.
The menu kicks off with a deluxe Moriawase, that comprises a succulent serving of oyster drizzled with Nobu sauce, charred cuts of tender bonito tataki Matsuhisa and the mouth-watering earthy notes of the Tai Truffle Dry Miso. The seafood trio leads right into the Chef’s Zensai, which features a selection of small dishes that are beautifully presented and flavour-packed bites.
Next up comes a selection of Nobu style sushi courtesy of Head Sushi Chef Micheole Chico, prepared right at your table (only during dinner service). Rolling these quintessential delights is an art form in itself, and watching a master at work is entertainment of the highest form. Sushi is best eaten immediately after it’s made so it doesn’t get much better than this.

The live aspect continues through to the main course where a chef expertly prepares Alaskan King Crab coated with creamy spicy sauce in front of your eyes. A flaming finish makes this crustacean course a pure luxury. From the sea to the land, the next main is a hearty grilled Angus beef tenderloin paired with Buckwheat ‘Risotto’ for a melt-in-your-mouth combination that will coat your palate in rich umami flavours.
Rounding out the menu with creamy sweet notes is a chocolate sphere made from white chocolate dome, yogurt mousse and orange curd with matcha chocolate sauce – every bit as decadent as the dishes preceding it and holding its own as the final round in this top-flight menu.
