Malaysia Airlines
With a history that extends back to 1947, Malaysia Airlines is the national flag carrier. Sporting the distinctive wau bulan (traditional Malay kite) logo and livery, its planes ferry tens of thousands of passengers daily, with flight paths mainly covering the company’s regions of focus – Southeast Asia, China, North Asia, South Asia, Australia, New Zealand and United Kingdom.

Established in 2001, Citilink is a low-cost airline that began life as a subsidiary of Indonesia’s national flag carrier, but has operated as an independent carrier since 2012. The Wonderful Indonesia Travel Pass offers travellers up to 30% discount on domestic flights if they choose from various travel packages like the Adventure Pass or Explore Pass.

Air Astana
A relatively young airline, with its first commercial flights in 2002, Air Astana is the flag carrier of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Named after the country’s capital, which was renamed Nur- Sultan in March 2019, the company operates out of Almaty, with its main hub being Almaty International Airport. From there, it flies to over 60 destinations across the globe.
