Boasting a theme of ‘Fashion Raya’, community mall Setapak Central adds a twist to things as they unite traditional and contemporary styles in their celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri from 16 June-16 July.
An official launch packed with fashion-forward fun kicked off the festivities on 18 June, attended by the esteemed Wangsa Maju MP Dato Dr Tan Kee Kwong to commemorate the start of the ‘Fashion Raya’ celebration.
Highlights of the launch included musical entertainment by local talent Akim Ahmad who engrossed the crowd with his beloved tunes, as well as a spectacular fashion show that captivated the public’s eye with its exhibition of renowned labels like Cotton On and Nichii.

During this festive month, time-honoured techniques like batik will be revamped into a mix of tradition and trend that stylishly depict this year’s ‘Fashion Raya’, giving the mall a complete makeover in the process.
