MITM Travel Fair

This is the 5th MITM fair in Johor, and is organised by the Malaysia Chinese Tourism Association. Exhibitors include tour and
travel agents, resorts, hotels, and financial bodies. There will be 75 booths and 30,000 expected visitors at this event, so get there early if you want to score a deal.

Held for the the third consecutive year, the National Department for Culture and Arts, Sabah is holding this platform for local
artisans aims to preserve the local cultural heritage, while creating appreciation and understanding through a variety of activities. Visitors can observe the handicraft and cooking demonstrations or participate in traditional games and sports such as ma-ma-rampanau (walking on bamboo-stilts) and mimpulos (arm wrestling) and learn how to handle ancient hunting tools such as sumpit (blowpipe) and lastik (sling shot).
