Federal Territories Day
The flags flew high and the colours were vibrant as crowds gathered at Merdeka Square to witness the 8000 strong parade march along to the tune of Maju dan Sejahtera or Progress and Prosperity, the official anthem of the territories. Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak graced the proceedings to officiate the celebrations and spur on the crowds with a rousing speech.
