A French-inspired Ramadhan menu awaits at this famed TREC KL outlet
Supperclub KL, TREC KL’s trendy gastrobar-cum-lounge-cum-nightclub has gained a sterling reputation for putting out superlative French fare courtesy of its Executive Chef Romain Fabre.
Having trained at the prestigious Institut Paul Bocuse in France and then cut his teeth at various Michelin-starred restaurants, the chef knows fine food intimately. He now presents a unique Ramadhan menu running until 25 June that combines his flair for fine French food with local desserts.
Diners are given a choice of three combinations: buffet starter and dessert, buffet starter with ordered main course, and kids buffet. The starter buffet, priced at RM68++, includes a fresh salad bar with various vinaigrettes and dressings, smoked duck croque-monsieur and béchamel sauce, roast beef, chicken skewers, smoked salmon and more.
Meanwhile, seafood lovers can indulge in an extensive buffet that contains ocean-fresh delights, some of which are air flown from the Atlantic. The spread includes Fine de Claire oysters, whelks and cocktail tiger prawns among others. The seafood buffet is priced at RM88 ++.
On the main course front, patrons are spoilt with a hearty choice that consists of roasted chicken with mushroom sauce, pan-seared salmon and vegetables, prawn pasta or beef flank with black pepper sauce. Prices here range from RM 98 ++ or RM128 ++.
Treat your tastebuds this Ramadhan and head to Supperclub KL for a taste of France with a dash or two of the local.
