Plaza Low Yat Implements Quality Assurance Stores Certification Programme

New system of standards have been put in place to benefit shoppers at the IT lifestyle mall

Plaza Low Yat has set in motion its very own Quality Assurance Stores Certification Programme which serves as method of ensuring its outlets provide confidence-inspiring services to customers. Launched by YB Senator Dato’ Dr Loga Bala, Deputy Minister of Federal Territory, the programme offers shoppers better services and protection at Plaza Low Yat while reinforcing Kuala Lumpur’s international image and reputation for quality retail services.

“I am delighted to see this modern accreditation programme established and I hope more shopping malls in Kuala Lumpur will create similar stores accreditation programmes to improve their shopping service quality, while fostering the quality improvement of local tourism services to make Kuala Lumpur an even more attractive shopping destination for all tourists,” Dato’ Dr Loga Bala said during the launch ceremony.

Patrick Honan, Plaza Low Yat’s General Manager meanwhile said, “Plaza Low Yat is the first shopping mall in Malaysia to launch such an initiative that will provide a clear and defined shopping experience for shoppers; extending to them trust and assurance while at the same time highlighting variety, choice, value, expertise, deals and support with everything that is IT-related at Plaza Low Yat.

“Through a benchmark of quality that is independently applied to our retailer, we have identified many of our retail partners who meet these standards and who have assisted us through this process.”

As the launch ceremony transpired, Dato’ Dr Loga Bala presented the Quality Assurance Stores Certificate to 45 stores for the Genuine category for the first phase of the programme.
