Plaza Low Yat Gives Back for Hari Raya

8 July 2017:
CSR initiative for underprivileged children

In the spirit of the Hari Raya festive season, Plaza Low Yat held a fun-filled day out at the Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet on the Ground Level of the IT mega-mall for the children of Rumah Kasih Harmoni Kuala Lumpur.

While the kids enjoyed a delicious set meal courtesy of KFC, they were entertained by Frankie the Clown, who wowed them with his magic tricks and balloon art. Afterwards, the management of Plaza Low Yat presented the caretakers of Rumah Kasih Harmoni with donation items, including rice, cooking oil, washing detergents, toiletries and biscuits, among others. The children were also given their own goodie bags and duit raya (money bags).

“Today is a wonderful opportunity for the children to celebrate an important time of their year,” said Plaza Low Yat Executive Area General Manager Patrick Honan. “We would like to let the children understand that they will always have the love, care and support from the community of Plaza Low Yat.” he added.

Rumah Kasih Harmoni is one of the top homes in the city, caring for more than 40 children under-privileged and poor families, since 2009.
