PUTRAJAYA
A spectacular new city has been developed approximately 20 kilometres south of Kuala Lumpur. The Federal Territory of Putrajaya is Malaysia's first Intelligent Garden City and plays host to many government and business facilities. Lush greenery, botanical gardens and parks are spread across landscapes enhanced by large bodies of water and wetlands. Billed as Malaysia's administrative capital, with the development of a monorail providing service to Putrajaya, it will soon be seamlessly linked with Kuala Lumpur, Cyberjaya and KLIA. Currently, the KLIA express rail service travels through Putrajaya, providing spectacular views of its lush landscape.
