Join us at Checkers Café, Dorsett Regency Kuala Lumpur for a gastronomic journey this April! The Amazing Taste of Kingdom of Thailand will be the theme for this month. Feast on Thai cuisine specially prepared by chefs flown in from Thailand. Diners can look forward to satisfying their palate with dishes such as Thai Laksa with condiments, Tom Yam Kung, Yam Som ‘O’, Lap Kai, Yam Pla Dook Foo, Kaeng Som Pla, Kaeng Phet Ped, Khao Phat Kung Kai and Tan Tim Krob to name a few which will be available for buffet lunch and dinner.
Thai Cooking Class
21 & 22 April 2012. 11.00 am to 2.00 pm
Refine your cooking skill and participate in this exclusive hands-on cooking class, conducted by Thai guest chefs. Learn how to prepare exotic specialties such as of the all-time Thai specialities of Beef Curry including how to prepare the green and red curry paste (Kaeng Kew Wan Nua), Chicken with Galangal in Coconut Infused Soup (Tom Kha Gai), Som Tam, Tom Yam Goong and Mock Pomegranate Seed with Coconut Milk (Tub Tim Krob).
Participants can look forward to a Theory and Tasting Session of papaya salad and Gai Hor Bai Toey (fried pandan chicken) complemented with a glass of Chang beef or a Thai tea drink before putting their culinary skills to the test.
The cooking class will culminate with a Q & A and photography session follow by a hi-tea spread at Checkers Café and presentation of Certificate of Attendance.
