Raised red lamp shades and a winding staircase greet diners as they enter the opulent surroundings of the Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s Chynna restaurant. A sprawling, stained glass roof and a regal red throughout create the impression of entering a Tang Dynasty hall.
On offer is modern Cantonese cuisine prepared by MIGF veteran Chef Lam Hock Hin. One attraction is the entertaining Chinese tea-master dressed in authentic garb, moving from table to table deftly pouring tea from a great height through a meter long spout. Diners also have the chance to watch the preparation of over 200 types of dim sum in the open plan kitchen.
There are a number of private dining rooms, beautifully and thematically decorated, perfect for business entertainment or celebrations with the family.
