Sunway University Pre-U courses combine holistic learning, dedicated lecturers, and programmes designed to equip students with the skills to successfully pursue undergraduate studies in premier universities around the world.

And the following five internationally recognised pre-university programmes are prime examples: the Australian Matriculation Programme (AUSMAT), Cambridge GCE A-Levels, Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP), Monash University Foundation Year (MUFY) and Sunway’s homegrown Foundation in Arts (FIA).

Sunway’s AUSMAT programme is the largest and longest running provider of the AUSMAT (Australian Year 12) in Malaysia. Lecturers rate top in ‘excellent teaching and assessment’, while students have been ranked amongst the best in the Western Australia programme worldwide. Students completing the programme have gained admission into various universities in Australia including the prestigious Group-of- Eight (Go8).

Sunway’s MUFY students continually win the Monash Excellence Award for achieving the highest total score among all MUFY providers in the region including providers in Australia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and China. MUFY students have also been admitted into the Go8 universities.

CIMP prepares students with the Canadian Year 12 School Curriculum according to the requirements of the Ontario (Canada) Ministry of Education. The Sunway CIMP has grown to become one of the largest programmes in the world that guarantees a passport to worldwide tertiary education to such as Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, to name a few.

Since 2005, the Sunway Cambridge CGE A-Level programme has been accorded the Cambridge International Fellowship Centre status in recognition of its commitment to Cambridge International Examination (CIE) standards of academic excellence and attainment of top of the world results in examinations. The Sunway A-Level students have been awarded Top Student Awards by CIE annually, gaining admission to many world-class institutions such as the University of Cambridge, Oxford University and Harvard University., to name a few.

The Sunway Foundation in Arts (FIA) emphasises a holistic development and a strong foundation in both numeracy and literacy. Students can pursue a direct pathway to the Lancaster University validated undergraduate studies at Sunway University.
