Malaysia’s favourite IT lifestyle mall lights up for the festive season

Plaza Low Yat recently turned on its brightly-lit Christmas lights and decorations, bathing the whole area in a festive glow, ready to usher in the Yuletide spirit. The joyous occasion also saw children from the Agathian Shelter of Petaling Jaya hosted, where they enjoyed good food and entertainment.

An exhilarating flash-mob dance performance kicked off proceedings, after which VIPs including Deputy Minister of the Federal Territories Dato’ Dr Loga Bala Mohan Jaganathan, Senior GM for Hotel Operations and Group F&B of Federal Hotels International Simon Long, and Executive Area General Manager of Plaza Low Yat Patrick Honan, officiated the ceremony by lighting up the Christmas tree at bbpark.

The good spirits continued as representatives from the Agathian Shelter received donations from Mr Honan, while the Children were given Christmas presents by other VIPs. Following this, all guests were ushered into Konitki Restaurant at The Federal Kuala Lumpur for a scrumptious dinner.

“We want the children to know that the Malaysian society will always be supportive of them,” said Mr Honan at the event.

“It is the humanity within us to support one another, and we should all be focussing more on nurturing and ensuring the welfare of all youths,” he added.
